10-Day Return Policy
Here at Melting Point, if our customer is not fully satisfied, we’re not fully satisfied. Therefore, we have devised a return policy with our customers needs in mind. Our policy gives you the freedom to return merchandise if you are not fully satisfied with it. You may return any item from our store within 10 days of its pick up or shipment for an exchange or refund. Once we have received your order, your refund will be processed immediately.
Our Return Process
Please be aware that not all items may be returned for a full refund.
Items that have been sized from the original stock size, engraved, damaged, or have been altered by anyone other than Melting Point, or show signs of wear and tear will not be considered. Custom designs that have been constructed to your specifications and made with your approval, can not be returned. Returns without a return code, and packages that are improperly packaged or uninsured will be refused receipt. We will not refund shipping & handling charges, gift wrapping, or any other additional charges. You can expect a refund in the same form of payment originally used for purchase within 30 days of our receiving your returned product. We will not accept CODs or third party billing for returned merchandise.
Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive an item that is damaged upon arrival, please call us immediately. It is important that you contact us before returning the item, so that we may assist you with return shipping fees. If you do not contact us you are responsible for all return shipping charges.
Before you call, please have your order number available, and please prepare a detailed description of the damage or defect before contacting us.
How to Prepare a Return
To return an item, please follow our simple guidelines:
Your Return Code
E-mail us your request for a return code detailing the reason for your return. If possible, provide us with a phone number where we can reach you. You will then be contacted and given a return code. Write this code on the outside of the box. Packages without the return authorization code will not be accepted.
Package Your Return
Include all original packaging and collateral material. For security reasons, address the package to Melting Point, but please do not write jewelers or jewelry anywhere on the outside of the box.
Insure Your Package
Ship your package via US Postal Service Registered Mail, insured for the total value of the contents, and request a return receipt for confirmation that your shipment has reached Melting Point.
As a policy, Meltingpoint does not sell, trade or rent your personally identifiable information to third-parties, unless you have granted us permission to do so.
In addition to the uses set forth above, if you contact one of our diamond and jewelry consultants (and provide personally identifiable information to the consultant) or submit a request or inquiry through our Web Site, we will use your information to respond to your inquiry or request and to provide you with any other additional information that we believe may be helpful or interesting to you.
If you place an order with Meltingpoint, in addition to the uses set forth above, we will use your personally identifiable information to confirm your order, prevent and detect fraud or abuse, respond to your requests or inquiries, provide you with other administrative information regarding your order and provide you with any other information we deem helpful or interesting to you.
If you do not want to receive communications from us please email us and we will remove you from our contact list.

We may collect and disclose any information, including personally identifiable information, we deem necessary, in our sole discretion, to comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request.
